ABOUT 42 WOLFSBURG
42 Wolfsburg is a private and tuition-free programming school and was founded in September 2020. The school stands for coding excellence at a university level. 42 Wolfsburg does not have any admission restrictions, like a higher education entrance qualification. Talented IT enthusiasts over the age of 18 can qualify for a spot by passing a multistage admission test. The innovative educational model is conducted entirely in English and is based on project-based peer learning. There are no books, lectures, and teachers, instead, it focuses on self-organized learning within a gamified project environment. It is possible to learn the entire range of IT through autonomous learning by solving practice-oriented problems.In Wolfsburg, students will also be able to specialize in the area of Software Engineering Automotive & Mobility Ecosystems (SEA:ME). 42 Wolfsburg is part of the international 42 network and is being supported by the Volkswagen AG. The non-profit coding school sees itself as an additional element to universities of applied sciences with the goal to help accomplish the safeguarding of the future of our country.
Die private und gebührenfreie Programmierschule 42 Wolfsburg wurde im September 2020 gegründet. Sie steht für Coding-Exzellenz auf Hochschulniveau. Ohne Zulassungsbeschränkungen, wie die Hochschulreife, haben talentierte IT-Interessierte ab 18 Jahren die Chance, sich durch einen mehrstufigen Aufnahmetest für einen Ausbildungsplatz zu qualifizieren. Das innovative Ausbildungskonzept in englischer Sprache setzt auf projektbasiertes Peer Learning – ohne Bücher, Klassen und Lehrer, dafür autark auf dem Campus innerhalb einer gamifizierten Projektumgebung. Durch eigenständiges Arbeiten an praxisbezogenen Problemstellungen ist die ganze Bandbreite der IT erlernbar, hinzu kommen Spezifikationen im Automotive-Bereiche und im Software Engineering. 42 Wolfsburg ist Teil des internationalen 42-Netzwerks und wird von der Volkswagen AG gefördert. Die gemeinnützige Programmierschule versteht sich als additiver Baustein zu Hochschulen mit dem Ziel, einen wichtigen Beitrag zur Zukunftssicherung unseres Landes zu leisten.

The first 42 campus was founded in Paris in 2013 with the vision to create a contemporary coding education. Nowadays the network consists of 35 locations in over 22 countries with about 10.000 students. The peer learning educational model is continuously evolved to keep up with the current and future demands of the tech world. Besides Wolfsburg, Heilbronn is the sister 42 school in Germany. 42 Heilbronn is supported by the Dieter-Schwarz foundation.
Der erste 42-Campus wurde 2013 in Paris mit der Vision gegründet, die -Ausbildung in Software-Entwicklung zeitgemäß aufzustellen. Inzwischen umfasst das Netzwerk 33 Standorte in über 20 Ländern mit aktuell rund 10.000 Studierenden. Die technischen Inhalte sowie das peer-basierte Lernmodell wird kontinuierlich fortentwickelt, um aktuelle und künftige Bedürfnisse der Tech-Welt abzubilden. In Deutschland gibt es neben Wolfsburg den Schwesterschulen Standort der 42 in Heilbronn, der von der Dieter-Schwarz-Stiftung gefördert wird.
