Admission Process

Step 1: Online Introduction Meeting

Mandatory attendance to a one-hour Online Introduction meeting

Step 2: The Application Platform

Once the mandatory Online Introduction completed, one must create an account on our official Application platform (an invitation will automatically be sent out to each participant)

Step 3: Attend the Piscine

The Piscine is the final and most critical stage of the 42 Wolfsburg admission process. It is a deep-dive immersion designed to test one’s logic, perseverance, and ability to cooperate.

  • Format: Intensive, 4-week immersion into the innovative learning methodology of 42 Wolfsburg. Learn how to code in C from scratch. 

  • Location: Mandatory on-site attendance at our Wolfsburg campus; no remote or online participation is possible.

  • Requirements: No prior coding experience or academic degrees are required.

  • Registration: One can simply sign up to a Piscine following the Online Introduction and the Application Platform registration. 

Step 4: The Kick-Off

After conquering the Piscine, the applicant can officially start the 42 Wolfsburg Core Curriculum.

The journey begins at the Kick-Off, a dedicated orientation week for the new cohort of students. This marks the Day 1 of their Core Curriculum.

  • Frequency: Kick-Off events typically take place twice per year.

Study Program Structure 

Phase 1: Core Curriculum

Level: Bachelor’s Equivalent

Duration: 12–18 Months

The Goal: Master the fundamentals of software engineering through 7 thematic pillars.
